In Revelation 22, God's plan of redemption is fulfilled. The knowledge that our eternal hope is coming to pass must not lull us into complacency, but spur us to spiritual duties.

The things of the future are too great to imagine; too glorious to comprehend. For Christians, this future is ours, and our home is in New Jerusalem.

In Revelation 21, we see the present universe destroyed, and a new one created. While creation is now bound by sin and death, only what is good will enter into the new.

For 1000 years, Jesus Christ will rule the earth, and there will finally be peace. The glory of God is seen in His judgment of Satan and the wicked.

The hope that burns in so many hearts is for the world to have peace. This has been the hope of saints all through the years, and will be fulfilled when Christ sets up His millennial kingdom.

The culmination of all history is the return of Jesus Christ, and the beginning of the end of all human rebellion. In Revelation 19, John has a vision of His return.

John has a vision of a great multitude in heaven praising God. The multitude rejoice because God is glorified in His works and judgements.

Unlike Babylon the church which is destroyed in the middle of the tribulation, Babylon the city is not destroyed until the end. In chapter 18, we hear four important announcements about her.

Babylon is pictured in John's vision as a prostitute seated on a great beast. The spiritual culture of the last days will be that of a one world church under Antichrist's power.

John has a vision of seven angels pouring out seven bowls - the last of earth's judgements on the wicked. But even in the midst of this, God saves His own.

Jesus will return on Mt. Zion (Isa. 24:23, Ps. 2) as long prophesied, with 12,000 Jews from every tribe to proclaim the Good News throughout the world.

The Antichrist comes after the Beast, but appears like a harmless lamb. Just as God marks His own elect, Satan will mark those who worship him.

There is an empire that we see rise from the nations in Revelation 13. The man at head is the antichrist, who is empowered by Satan.

Revelation 12 through 14 is a flashback from the fall of Satan to the end of the world. We see the beginning of sin, and its end in Christ's reign.

The tribulation is the coming together of all the most destructive events in history. In it, God's wrath comes on the ungodly, while the anger of Satan comes on the godly.

The last, and final trumpet will sound the completion of judgment on the earth. And when judgment on earth is complete, our Christ will return.

Faith comes only from hearing the Word of God. Even in the black times of the tribulation, God sends His two witnesses to speak truth.

Chapter 10 takes place between the sixth and seventh trumpets.

During the tribulation, there will be such trouble for those who do not know God. Though judgment will come, salvation is offered today.

The final seal opens seven trumpet judgements on the earth. In them we see God's justice carried out.
