A Flashback from the Tribulation

Revelation 12 through 14 is a flashback from the fall of Satan to the end of the world. We see the beginning of sin, and its end in Christ's reign.
The start of all sin came with the fall of Satan from Heaven, who took with him a third of the angels. After this, he tried and failed to stop the coming of Christ.
From verse seven we see his final expulsion from Heaven, never again to be granted entrance there. Heaven rejoices, but he now turns his attention to persecuting Israel with all his effort.
Despite all Satan's schemes, God keeps 144,000 witnesses for himself, and they spread the gospel throughout the end of the tribulation times. They overcame Satan as we do, by the blood of Christ and the word of their testimony.
