God’s Salvation
John 3:16 - 21

The world lies in darkness because of sin. But the hope we have is that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.
Salvation is rooted in God's love. His love is without distinction to all tribes and nations. He has no obligation to love, but it is His good pleasure to love. He is a God of salvation; it is his nature to save.
Salvation is only through belief in the Son. Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe remains in their sin; they are already judged. Salvation from sin means having the sentence of death removed.
Salvation is by a mighty work of God. Doers of the truth come to the light and desire fellowship because God has changed their hearts. Believers are glad to come to God, because they know He rewards obedience. We live for the glory of God.
