Living With Purpose, Part 2
Psalm 139:13 - 18
28 January 2024
Because of our fellowship with God, our lives have purpose. Psalm 139 demonstrates that our God is in control; and as we grow to know Him, so does our praise.
God is our Creator. He is the reason we exist, for He has created our souls. Thinking of how intricately God has created him, David resolves to give God praise in the public assembly.
God ordains our days. We are responsible for our choices, but God directs our way. God is fully sovereign over all the days of our lives, and guides us with only ever good intentions. His thoughts about us are more than can be counted.
To know God's thoughts towards us may be terrifying for those who do not know God, but it is comfort and stability for the saint.
