Ruling officials must fear the Lord and walk in His ways.

We show thanksgiving to God by publicly acknowledging His attributes and works and praising Him for them.

Our God is utterly different than anything in His creation. He is perfect and totally distinct from any created thing. He is great and awesome in His power. He is just and righteous in His actions. He is merciful in His love for His people, forgiving our sins.

We must strive to never let our praise become routine, for we have much to celebrate.

Rejoice in the present as you acknowledge the greatness of your God and Saviour Jesus Christ, and remember all that He has done for you.

The peoples of the world are called to glorify God as above all and worthy of honour.

From the highest mountains to the deepest abyss, He rules on High.

What can the believer do in the midst of an evil world. What can the righteous do when anxious thoughts multiply within them?

God is sovereign over all aspects of His creation, and in the future Christ will rule as King physically from Jerusalem.

Thinking upon the mighty works of God throughout history is a cause of great joy in the lives of believers.
