A. Instruct One Another—Romans 15:14
1. Desire to instruct (formally or informally) another believer should be motivated by love for God and the other person
2. We help people to know what is right according to God’s word in the different situations of their life
B. Do Not Sue One Another—1 Cor 6:7
1. Lawsuits in the Church are individualism and pride run amok
2. Believers should never take one another to civil court to hash out disagreements. They should have attitudes of sacrificial love, forgiveness, and kindness
3. Best way is to go through church leadership to resolve an impasse. In the end as believers it is better to take a loss out of love than to disparage the reputation of Christ
C. Care for One Another—1 Cor 12:25
1. Paul uses the illustration of the human body to show that we should care for each member of the body of Christ equally.
2. Caring for one another demonstrates love and preserves unity in the Church
3. Caring is not just an emotion, but is demonstrated in one’s actions
D. Do Not Provoke and Do Not Envy One Another—Gal 5:26
1. Provoking one another is exercising your liberty in Christ without regard for those who may be uninformed or struggling with sin.
2. We must care about others more than our personal rights
3. Envy is when a young believer wishes they didn’t still struggle with conscience issues and can live more freely
E. Bear One Another’s Burdens—Gal 6:2
1. Help other believers that are going through difficult trials by assisting them to carry their burdens.
2. Do they need help with meals, cleaning, finances, ect... Do they need encouragement that comes from fellowship
