The final seal opens seven trumpet judgements on the earth. In them we see God's justice carried out.
When the seventh seal is opened, there is silence in heaven because of the grim reality of destruction on the earth. It will be the most destructive event since the Fall of man, a punishment to those who refuse to believe.
The prayers of God's people for his kingdom to come, and for justice will be answered. Revelation gives us a glimpse of the saints' prayers ascending to God, and he acts. There comes on the earth disasters, so that all will know God reigns.
The trumpet judgements on earth will be the final wake-up call to the world. We do not know when they will come, but we know the day of salvation is today.
