Joy in salvation means wanting to tell others about what God has done in your own life. In John 4, we see this in the Samaritan woman who went to tell the city about Jesus. After her meeting with him, she abandoned her water pot to go tell others about the Messiah. She persuaded them to go see Christ, because she had a taste of the living waters herself.

Jesus had a loving priority to minister to the Samaritan woman. When His disciples asked Him if He needed food, He responded that he had a sustenance none of them knew about. They thought He was talking about physical food, but His meaning was that doing the Father's will sustained his soul. He had joy to see people saved.

We have an inclusive Saviour. Many of the Samaritans came to believe that He was their Messiah, despite the Jews having rejected Him. Despite their idolatry and false worship, Jesus made His way to the Samaritan village to bring light to the people there. He is the Saviour of mankind, and delights in their saving.
