The Six Seals
Revelation 6
9 September 2018
In the six seals of Revelation 6, the character of Jesus Christ is further revealed. We can learn about Him from them.
The man on a white horse represents the antichrist who conquers the world peacefully. The unbelieving world will be condemned along with him because they refuse the truth.
The red horseman comes, and takes peace from the earth. Then the black horseman comes with famine, but leaves the rich of the earth.
The fourth horseman introduces death to the world through war, famine, death, and wild animals; and Hades follows behind, receiving the soul. All these horsemen are only permitted to act because they have been given the authority by Jesus Christ!
The fifth seal shows the martyrs wanting to be avenged: and here we see Christ's patience, because he tells them to "wait a while longer."
When the sixth seal is broken, earth and heaven's natural order is thrown into chaos, and everyone who has not believed is in fear of God's wrath.
In Revelation 6, we see the power and authority of Jesus Christ proclaimed through all the seals He opens.
