John 10:22 - 30

The Jewish leaders, jealous of Jesus' popularity, sought a way to trap and arrest Him. Despite His many miracles and proof of who He was, the way they acted proved their heart of unbelief.

In John 10, we see the rejection of the goats - those who were not Jesus' sheep. He had repeatedly witnessed about who He was by His words and deeds, but the people largely failed to believe who He was. The issue was never evidence; it was unbelief.

Despite those who refused to believe in Jesus, His sheep are secure. Jesus gives to those who believe in Him eternal life, and they will never perish.
