Psalm 23:1 - 6

Psalm 23 is a promise that God is always with us, even when life grows dark. God is our Shepherd, and we are His sheep, because He gave His life for us.
We can trust God because He provides for us. He leads us to places that restore our souls, as a good shepherd does for his sheep.
We can trust God because He provides for our walk - He guides us in the right paths. He has promised to lead us safely to Heaven, and He will not fail us, because His name is at stake.
We can trust God because He protects us from that which would spiritually harm us. Sometimes he protects us by disciplining us. He guards us because He loves us. God is present with us
God is good and gives good things to His beloved. His love pursues and chases after us, and we can rest content knowing that we will be with Him forever.
