Paul’s Epistle to the Romans

It is purest Gospel. It is well worth a Christian’s while not only to memorise it word for word but also to occupy himself with it daily,  as though it were the daily bread of the soul. Up to now it has been  darkened by glosses and by many a useless comment, but it is in itself  a bright light, almost bright enough to illumine the entire Scripture.”

One doesn’t have to believe in God to be a moralist. In fact, self righteous people are to be found everywhere. What does God have to say to such people? Does He commend them for their awareness of what’s right and wrong?

Truth be told, it’s quite the opposite. In fact, Geoff brings out 6 reasons why God will judge moralists everywhere. And given how easy it is to judge someone else, this is a message we all need to listen to so we don’t fall into the trap of becoming smug moralists
