James 1:12-18
Everyone understands the idea of temptation. But the passage that Steve deals with here isn't referring to temptation in a way the world sees it. Rather, he explores Biblical idea of temptation as outlined by James.
What do these temptations involve? Why are we to steer clear of them? How can we resist them? What are the consequences of giving in? And most importantly, should we hold God responsible for the temptations that come our way? We need to know how the Bible answers these questions so that we have a godly attitude towards temptation.
Knowing how temptation works and how we can overcome it will help us in our daily walk as we seek to glorify Christ in all we do. After all, our enemy is powerful and cunning. The more we know his gameplan, the less powerful he becomes.
