Proverbs gives us the ability to understand how God wants us to live. We need wisdom: the ability to apply knowledge to decisions which are not always clear.

How do we define success? True success means living wisely, and in a way that honours God. Since all treasures of wisdom are hidden in Him, true wisdom starts with knowing Him.

Wisdom is the pursuit of professional and personal excellence motivated by a saving faith in Jesus Christ. Since He died for us, we live for Him; this means we must learn wisdom. The key to a wise and joyful life? Loving and fearing the Lord.
